My Little Shop โ Privacy
The short version: the app collects nothing. Not a thing.
The mobile app
My Little Shop (iOS and Android) is a pretend-play cash register game for children, designed so that no personal information ever leaves the device:
- No accounts. Nothing to sign up for, no login.
- No data collection. The app does not collect, store or transmit personal information โ from children or anyone else.
- No internet use. The app makes no network requests. Shops, products and pretend sales are saved only on the device, and deleting the app deletes them.
- No ads, analytics or tracking of any kind, and no third-party services.
- Camera: used only to scan the toy barcode stickers you print, so the register can ring items up. Images are processed on the device in the moment and never saved or sent anywhere.
- Printing and backups:printables go through your device's normal print dialog. The optional backup creates a file of your pretend shop data that you choose where to save โ the app never sends it anywhere itself.
This website
The play version at mylittleshop.nicklarosa.net uses accounts so families can keep their shops. We store only what sign-up asks for โ an email address (a parent's), a display name and a password (stored hashed) โ plus the pretend shop data you create. It is used solely to run the game: no ads, no analytics, no selling or sharing of data, ever. Password reset emails are sent through Amazon SES. Ask us to delete an account and everything goes with it.
